Working
Better working environments through people and automation
Overview.
IA develops collaborative automation and ergonomic workstation solutions that support people in their daily work. By combining human flexibility and decision-making with automation for repetitive, heavy or physically demanding tasks, we help create safer and more efficient working environments.
Working
Not every process should be fully automated. In many operations, the best solution is a combination of people and technology, allowing each to focus on the tasks they perform best.
Collaborative robots, or cobots, can work alongside operators and assist with repetitive tasks such as handling, picking, machine tending and product movement. Their flexibility makes them suitable for applications where production requirements change or where full automation is not practical.
The workstation itself is equally important. IA designs ergonomic workstations around the operator, the process and the materials being handled. Good ergonomics can reduce unnecessary reaching, lifting and repetitive movement while supporting a more consistent workflow.
By considering automation, ergonomics and material flow as one system, we create working environments that support both operational performance and the people using them.
